Anna Hymas

Anna was born in London in 1977. She trained as a dancer and then studied at Central St Martins College of Art and Design graduating in 2000. Since then, she has shown her paintings with Will's Art, in London, Glasgow, New York and Paris as well as with other smaller galleries in the UK. Her paintings are bright and colourful, but also have a depth and a sense of abstraction which come from the process of her work, where one image is often layered on top of another. Anna's work spans a range of media including illustration, fabrics, rugs and ceramics.
