Anthony Jones

Profile/CV

Anthony Jones is a fine art photographer specialising in black and white silver gelatin prints of the urban environment. His work follows a very classical approach and his influences come from the likes of Paul Strand and Berenice Abbott. Though many of his black and white photographs were taken in the city of London, they are about the spirit of a place, not the geographical location itself. The aim being to convey a sense of mystery about the figures and to question their purpose. His work has been published in the British Journal of Photography, Victoria and Albert Museum Magazine, widely exhibited and features in many corporate and private collections.
