Artist Statement

My influences are first and foremost everything I see, feel and experience, but I've always loved miniatures painting mixing with Abstract. I have been thought by Mahmoud farschian and my love of painting miniatures comes from his styles and vision

Artist Biography

Born in Middle East and started to paint with Watercolor at the age of 13. Thereafter, he attended a 5 year youth art club and in 1987 his painting was selected and used for a National Stamp. At age of 18 he was accepted to attend University where he studied mainly Oil painting and Miniature painting. In 1992 Aziz started to work with Sculpture, getting his inspiration from Salvador Dali, producing surrealism sculptures for sale and display Tehran Museum

While studying at University, Aziz started to produce work that brought two cultures together, using his knowledge of Middle Eastern Art and Western Art. He produced many pieces which are currently displayed in his country. Unfortunately due to political regime his works are not allowed to be displayed outside of his country.

Since November 2010 Aziz has lived in Scotland, he is very excited about producing his work freely and having the opportunity to exhibit his work and allow art lovers to see his vision. Aziz is a multi talented artist and he is currently working on a project to bring sculpture and painting together as one
