The Ben Uri Collection is the world's most distinguished body of work by artists of European Jewish descent. We have a collection of over 1300 works, which you can view on our website, and we organise temporary exhibitions in our gallery in St. John's Wood, with related events and curator-led tours. Our current exhibition, "Uproar": The first 50 years of the London Group" is an historic exhibition examining the first half century of this turbulent group. It brings together an explosive and eclectic selection of British Modernist works, including works by Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Mark Gertler, L.S. Lowry, Jacob Epstein and many more.
Ben Uri is an educational art museum for all, and we want everyone, from all communities in the UK and abroad, to explore the work, lives and contribution of British and European artists of Jewish descent alongside their national and international peer groups and from within the artistic and social context of our cultural heritage.
