Brian Mc Gonagle

I studied Fine Art, Painting and Printmaking at Hornsey College of Art between 1967 and 1970. Upon graduating I taught and lectured in various schools and colleges in North London. During this time I exhibited work in several mixed exhibitions and sold work to private collectors. Between 1982 and 1985 I studied for an MA(RCA) at the Royal college of Art. I was a student in the Design Research Department which was concerned with the philosophical and psychological underpinnings of Art and Design activity. My dissertation was concerned with exploring the notion that, 'Values and Valuing' are central to all Art and Design. I am also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts - FRSA; and a Fellow of the Chartered Society of Designers - FCSD.
