I have an eclectic background with an English degree and have also studied, fashion, performance, children's books, poetry and song writing. I recently graduated from UAL Wimdledon College of Art with an MFA Fine Art.
I work with paper cutting, shadows and atmospheric installations that are interactive for the audience.
my work is psychosocial and is primarily about Isolation, Alienation, self consciousness and the difficulty of Communication with others...
my works are hand made in order to have a close relationship with my work as it has an expressionistic element to it. All my pieces stem from experience...
my works are made for a gallery audience as they are experiential, relational and immersive...
it is very much about the relationship between the individual and their community, the struggles with this and also the striving for human connection.
