Increasingly I am only concerned with the painterly process itself and ideas of abstraction and how one can express this through handling of paint. My on-going repetition of similar forms talks about a search for a certain perception and experience, and of what painting is. I am drawn to live and work in places which could be described as borderlands, geographically and psychologically.
