I was born in Athens in 1984 and grew up in Cyprus. In 2001 I moved to London to study medicine at University College London. During my studies I became interested in research and pursued this with a PhD in Tumour Immunology, within my medical studies. In the many years I spent in UCL, I also had the opportunity to study at the Slade School of Fine Arts for one term. Now I live in London, enjoying both my research and art work. This year one of my paintings has been selected for the final round of the East-West Art Award Competition 2012. Exhibition with the works of art for all finalists will take place at La Galleria, Pall Mall between 22 and 27 of October 2012.
