I am a painter whose most recent inspiration is from the art of the aborigines of Australia.
I love the way the images are deceptively simple, yet they tell a definite story. Sometimes an outsider may guess at this story, but only the initiated will ever know the full meaning. I am fascinated by paint and the way it flows over an uneven surface. Sometimes it fills in the texture, and other times it emphasizes it. Many of my paintings use collage and texture in them.
