We are experimenting with game engine software within a fine art context. We use 3D computer modelling software to construct the subject matter of our work. We then import these models into Digital Game software (Unity) where we use this software's artificial intelligence (AI) and interactive characteristics to enable the continuing development of the work independent of 'the artist' - interactive or randomly computer generated potentially never ending time based narratives. Unity is programmed to take random screenshots from these narratives to produce 2D and (potentially) 3D digital prints. These digital stills are used to produce large scale oil on canvas paintings.
