Day Bowman - graduated from Chelsea School of Art and London University in 1980. Her work as painter lies on the axis of figuration and abstraction. In the past 15 years she has collaborated with film-makers, composers and musicians to produce installations in sacred spaces, market squares and railway stations throughout the U.K. The Urban Wastelands Project, a touring exhibition (2011-12), highlighted issues concerning the wastelands and detritus that surround our cities and ports.
