Commissions
2010 ‘Vistas, Values and Voices early career commission’. January 5- May 31st. Commissioned by Greenclose studio in Lancashire. Developing a piece of work in response to the changing environment of the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire. Using the collaborative creation of a photo-collage, with the local community to engage them in the environmental issues of their area.
2009 ‘loughborough Re-focused’ and ‘Refocus’
‘Lougborough Re-focused’ A large-scale photomontage based on re-configuring the landscape of Loughborough, now exhibited in the town hall.
‘Re-focus’ Supported by Charnwood Arts Council involved three group projects with local schools using participatory approaches to create three large-scale photomontages.
2009-10 Artist Access to Arts programme, Loughborough University School of Art and Design. Accepted onto this national programme, which promotes a relationship between the artist and the university. This involves using the facilities to produce a body of work, which will be exhibited alongside the three other AA2A artists at the end of the programme. The project includes engaging with the students through talks, and generally having a presence at the university. (October 09- September 10)
