Currently living and working in London.
Over the past 6 years I have felt driven to create work which reflects the essence of the material I am using, often based on the interplay of its opposing qualities.
My way of working, relies strongly on spontaneity, experimentation and play, bound with more contrive judgments.
The work is non objective, mixed media and mostly wall mounted.
I use a variety of found recycled industrial materials and in choosing these I respond to three elements: texture, form and light. The chosen medium triggers my inspiration and my imagination works as a catalyst. I am never sure if I choose the object or if the object chooses me. I see this transition based on selection, and an exchange between the material and the immaterial, the known and the unknown.
