Female painter of Norwegian origins, living and working in London. Works mainly in oil - some figurative work, but mostly abstract. Inspired by the Norwegian west coast landscape (Bergen/Voss area), memories from childhood and the work of Munch. Otherwise inspired/influenced by; Diebenkorn, Roger Hilton,Sandra Blow,William Scott, Cy Twombly, de Stael, Appel,Joan Mitchell,Matisse, Monet, Tapies and others. Am currently working from my studio at Wimbledon Art Studios - I also work P/T as a lecturer in Fine Art (Life drawing & Oil painting)
