Imogen Toner

Imogen Toner trained initially at Leeds College of Art, then went on to study printmaking under the late Peter Pretsel at Edinburgh College of Art. She works as a professional actor and artist, and is currently based in Glasgow. Her work as an artist is concerned with the way people become who they are, looking at memory, chains of events, aspirations and self projection. An exploration of the human instinct to collect and keep objects that have no apparent worth, but are elevated to high status objects as a result of emotional investment. She works internationally, in a range of disciplines- printmaking, painting, textile, photography, film.
