I draw in a painterly way and enjoy exploring the hand drawn mark. I’m interested in controlled and unpredictable mark making. The immediacy of mono printing and the random, chance mistakes that occur when using this printmaking technique suit the way I work.
I focus on recording and representing the banal and the unremarkable as something special. I am fascinated with the commonality of clutter and I'm drawn to the detail of mundane experiences that surround identity and human life. I use my environment, possessions, memories and experiences as my subject matter.
