Joe Duggan



Joe Duggan was born in Limerick and studied at the Royal College of Art in London. His photographic works were shown in the UK and internationally: The Family Man (2007) at LCGA, Limerick; Babylon (2005) at Koraalberg, Antwerp, Belgium; NeverEver (2003) at Hirschl Contemporary Art, London. His recent works use installation and sculpture alongside photography: Dear God (2009) at Extraspazio, Rome.

2009: Culture Ireland, funding Heaven’s Full (Project) supporting an exhibition  Nevan Lahart.

2008: Travel and Training Award, The Arts Council of Ireland.

2007: Nominated for AIB Bank Award (by Mike Fitzpatrick at Limerick City Gallery of Art).

2002: British Council travel Assistance Award.

2000:  Individual Arts Grant, Limerick County Council, Ireland.
