Statement

Visual arts are the ultimate encounter, in which both the Macrocosm (the Universe) and the Microcosm (humankind) interact in ways that are most comprehensive and most concentrated. The paradox for visual artists is that they receive life from art, even as they themselves bestow life to their materials when they create art. The visual arts present themselves for contemplation, transcending confines of space and time. For those who love art, experiences of the visual arts provide inspiration and illumination in a most mystical manner.
