British artist and designer Kathy Dalwood produces large- and small-scale sculptures through the process of casting in materials such as concrete and plaster. From major public commissions such as a series of four large friezes for St David’s in Cardiff , to unique and limited edition sculptures for boutiques including Mint and Atelier Abigail Ahern, the work brings together the industrial and the elegant, the antique and the contemporary in beautiful and innovative ways.
Kathy Dalwood's work has been widely featured on respected international blogs and in the British press.
As a foil to her website she recently launched a 'backstory' studio blog offering
a glimpse behind the scenes in her studio and an insight to the visual perspective which inspires her sculpture & design.
