Born in Oxford, UK, in 1979. Currently living and working in London.
Through the use of photography, video and installation, Kate examines notions of exile and belonging to explore a universal search for identity. She deconstructs ways of looking at femininity, masculinity and selfhood, and in the process questions traditional boundaries of gender identity as well as painterly conventions of self-representation.
