I’m originally from Dorset and I studied Fine Art Painting first at Bournemouth & Poole CAD and then at Farnham CAD. In the early 90’s I moved to London where I established a studio complex at Long Lane, Borough. In 1998 I moved to Bridport, west Dorset, and my paintings currently deal with the West Country landscape, responding to an emotional landscape that combines my childhood memories with my immediate experience of the changing seasons. From 2002-4 I co-ran "Artoose", an artist-run space in Belsize Park, and in 2010 I published a book “Portrait of the Artist - 25 Bridport Painters & Sculptors” with writer Lu Orza and photographer George Wright. My paintings typically take from six to twelve months to complete, so I have attracted a number of patrons and private clients for whom I am creating a series of commissions. I have works in a number of national and international collections.
