Much of the work I make is based in painting, and in public space. I also use text, photography and drawing to develop and communicate ideas.
Site-specific interventions are inspired by environmental and psychological contexts. The work utilises overlapping methods, that include painting, drawing, sculpture, live art, photography and writing.
Through these primarily visual tools, subjects of an internal and external nature are explored by drawing from the fields of fine art, design, and psychoanalysis to develop the theory and output.
Still images from installations and projects, function in a similar way to postcards or family photographs. They create snapshots that attempt to capture and communicate situations that would otherwise exist and be known only through lived experience.
