My sculptures are primarily influenced by a preoccupation with abandonment and artificiality, which I explore through working with a variety of materials and a sense of theatricality and absurdity. Embarking with deliberately ambiguous aims, I progress through reacting intuitively to images and materials .This approach lends its self to a somewhat playful journey of heroic achievement or noble failure. The message which pervades is paradoxically generic and idiosyncratic.
