The 
motivation
 behind
 my
 artistic 
endeavor
 is 
a
 desire
 for 
contact,
but 
also 
a 
fear
 of 
it. 
My 
video 
and
 sound 
installations 
are 
imbued
 with 
a
 strong, 
sometimes
 even
 threatening 
sense
 of
 physical 
and 
mental
 intimacies.
 Such
 intimacies,
 I 
believe,
 initiate
 in 
the 
suture 
between 
mind
 and
 matter, 
between
 force 
and
 flesh. 
 Moving
 Image
 and 
sound
 have
 the 
ability 
to 
capture
 this
 suture 
in
 its
 transitory 
manifestations,
 which
 would
 otherwise 
be 
overlooked
