Nansy Charitonidou (1985) was born in Greece. She is an artist currently living in London and her practice is focused on painting and photography. At the moment she continues her postgraduate studies attending the MA in Museum and Gallery Studies (Kingston University London). She holds a BA in Fine Arts and Art Sciences (University of Ioannina, Greece) and an MA in European Art Practice (Kingston University London). Her range of activities covers areas such as painting, printmaking, appropriation, collage, photography and poetry. Theoretically the concept of her work is related to the meaning of the image. Through the use of photographs chosen randomly from newspapers & magazines as well as from family photo albums, she wants to create a new visual and conceptual world.
