Using a range of discarded materials I make large scale floor based installations that are often read as maps or models of the urban environment. In recent work I have attempted to function with a minimal carbon footprint, sometimes using locally sourced materials or even developing work remotely by instruction. I also use film ( of the installation work) as a means of fulfilling this objective, in some instances the film and installation become combined.Website www.matosic.org.uk
