I am a London-based artist and writer, who entered the fine arts through my background in classical piano, music history and theory. My study of tone painting, chromatic harmony and 20th century minimalist composition influenced my formation as an artist. I received a B.A. in Music from NYU (2007) and an M.A. in History of Art from Birkbeck College (2014), where I attended on a Gordon Square International Award. My first solo exhibition is called New Britannia: Reinventing British Iconography and will be on display at Roast Restaurant in Borough Market from 12th October 2015. The show is a series of ten paintings incorporating classical and contemporary icons to explore the rich syncretism of ideas and imagery in Britain today.
