I have always been inspired by the natural landscape, and the juxtapositions within it; the way sky and land seem to collide; the way man impacts on his surroundings; and the way light impacts on everything. My paintings capture the essence of an emotive landscape – mood, light, colour – telling the story through light in darkness and through shapes within forms.
To put it another way; stand in the hills or on the coast in North Wales, or in the city surrounded by the man-made landscape, and this is how I think you might feel.
