I work across a range of disciplines including drawing, print, sculpture and installation. Experimentation with process and materials (latex, resin, fabric, yarn, threads and collected objects) is at the heart of my practice and plays a pivotal role in the development of my work.
Since graduating in 2010 with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, I have continued to draw inspiration from nature. Creating works which combine organic structures, patterns, shapes and textures to evoke the natural world.
A love of craft techniques is also evident in my work. Questioning the relationship between craft and the visual arts through the use of knit, crochet, tatting, ceramics and more. I aim to blur the lines between fine art and crafted objects.
