This body of work was first introduced in the project room of the Pentimenti Gallery in Philadelphia in the fall of 2008. Most of the pieces from this body of work consist of panels of clear plexiglas, ranging in size from a few inches to a few feet. Some stand on the floor and others on shelves.

In many cases there are painted areas on the wall behind them. This work was influenced by my abiding fascination with the numerous glass-clad corporate towers that dominate the core of most American cities, and as well, the many similarly clad corporate centers strewn along the exurban peripheries.

These pieces are essentially meditations on these strategically tangled metaphors of transparency and opacity and the material culture of modern power.
