Wayne is an experimental drawer and a photographer. He graduated in 2001, and since has been working as a teacher of Art and Design, as well as developing his own practice in drawing and photography.
"Inspired by people and places, and particularly those around me, I develop works on paper at MakeSpace Studios in Lambeth. I am also interested in the intricate, the mundane and the unusual, and draw beauty from the unexpected. My photography captures images from the every day around us, drawing attention to the unseen and unremarkable. I am particularly inspired in the interplay between different textures, interior and exterior spaces, and am intrigued by the door ways and alley ways of our amazing city. Often, the two ways of working inform each other and often lead to inspiration and developmental works."
