Yukako Shibata

Profile/CV

Yukako is a London-based artist, RCA graduate (Painting 2005), of Japanese origin, lives and works in London since 1993. She has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions and has had solo shows at the Light Contemporary, London (2013, 2006), the Atrium Gallery, London (2006) and The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation, London (2008). Recent projects and exhibitions include: Young Masters Collection, curated by Rebecca Wilson, Saatchi Online; WW Solo Award, WW Gallery, London; Norman Foster Circle Hospital collection selected by Contemporary Art Society; Shadowboxing, Royal College of Art, and In Two Minds at Eleven Spitalfields, London. Yukako's work is in many public and private collections worldwide, one of which is Doris Lockhart Saatchi.
