I am a 30 year old, self-taught artist living and working in London. Although the need and desire to express myself through art has pressed on me for as long as I can remember, the courage has been slower to fruit. Two years ago I began in earnest pursuit to live my life as I was always meant to. What gives a woman who has endured years of hardship and discrimination the courage to express her world visually?
