Caged Lovebird Set Free
( Poem For Kathy Acker)
Oh dark bird of paradise and pleasure, Lost.
Why so fragile like skeletal ice on a sub-zero pavement.
I hope you are free now, a caged lovebird, escaped.
Unconscious of the other left to waste away broken hearted.
