Gluck: Trailblazer Of Gender Fluidity Presented In New Exhibition And Symposium

A major new exhibition exploring the life and work of the artist Gluck (1895-1978), is now in full swing at the Brighton Museum. Gluck is widely recognised as a trailblazer of gender fluidity. The exhibition was created by Martin Pel, Dr Jeffrey Horsley and Prof Amy de la Haye.

A major retrospective of the British painter, Gluck (1895-1978). Featuring 32 works including Gluck’s most significant painting, Medallion (1937), the exhibition will explore the fascinating life, work and legacy of a pioneering artist of her generation.
