The answer is yes. If this were were 30 years ago Andy Warhol would embrace Beiber fever as he did other classic personalities from the film and music industries. Bieber crosses all boundaries of gender. His sex-appeal is androgynous and his classic good looks appeal, not only to heterosexual pubescent girls but also to a cross section of gay men and women. It is not so surprising that websites have cropped up such as the very popular, "Lesbians who look LIke Justin Beiber " website. This is a camp classic,  filled with exactly what it says on the box.

When Warhol painted his series of Michael Jackson portraits in 1984, the pictures, created with synthetic polymer paint and silkscreen inks were well received. He went on to paint five others throughout his career. Including a depiction of Jackson in his famous red leather jacket from the “Thriller” video. Jackson who had won a record eight Grammys for the Thriller album in 1984, was honored by the depiction and one of the portraits was a centerpiece for his eclectic collection, right up until his death in 2009. The portraits were produced during the high-point of Jackson's career. Warhol was on the other-hand slipping from his position as a leader in contemporary art. He had fallen from his pedestal and was waning in popularity.
It is not clear how Jackson acquired his painting.  Warhol had at this stage in his life become a society painter and openly advertised that he would paint any subject for $50,000. One version graced the cover of TIME magazine on March 19, 1984, a few weeks after the Grammys. This portrait sold for over $1 million in 2009 but would be valued much higher today, with hyperinflation hitting the Warhol market. Beiber is known to idolize Jackson and sights him as a major influence in his career.

It was reported yesterday that former Rapper- Marky Mark now turned-actor Mark Wahlberg told New York magazine that he and singer Beiber are planning to do a movie together and that he's in talks with Paramount on the project. "He loves the idea," Wahlberg said about The Bieb. "He's been sending me videos, he sent me a video of himself, and I think he's really talented." Wahlberg described the movie as a drama in which he would play a "reluctant mentor in an inner-city environment," but added that neither he nor Bieber will sing or dance in the film. This is following a well tested path to diversify from pop to film and will only propell Beiber's career in an upward direction.

It is also thought that Celebrity photographer David LaChapelle who photographed Micheal Jackson for his "This Is It"  promo campaign is  in talks with Beiber for a photo-shoot.
