Isabella Blow The Last 20th Century Fashion Icon
Isabella Blow (1958-2007): One of the last 20th century fashion icons was sadly missed at the launch of a new book by her PA Martina Rink, celebrating her life and hats. ArtLyst covered the party, Haunch of Venison Gallery, London, 13/09/2010. The event was attended by many friends including,Boy George, Rupert Everett and Vidal Sassoon. Many Thanks to her cousin Shelagh Delves-Broughton for inviting me to the event.

|" Martina Rink, Isabella s assistant has captured the essence of Isabella unlike anyone else, even, from what I understand, Issie's husband. Anyone in the art world, regardless of what ones area of interest might be, must pay tribute to this woman, and get to know her through Tina's book. Unfortunately the world lost a very unique person upon her death and such people are rarely copied or captured yet Tina has done so quite remarkably. Paul, although i was invited due to my blood connection to Isabella, I was not in London and I thank you for capturing what no doubt was a wonderful evening wall to wall full of creativity. I will pass this on to Martina, and other friends who will enjoy having such a great spot that will enable us all to keep abreast on the best exhibitions when in London. Thank you for sharing that evening with us! xoxox " - 15-09-2010|
