The iconic uber muse Kate Moss is the subject of a solo sale at Christie's auction house in London. Curated by collector Gert Elfering, works ranging from sculpture to photography will celebrate Ms Moss as a global trendsetter of  style and art.

The sale is made up mostly of her photographic images, in a variety of sizes and shapes. Artists include 60s 'Pop Art' legend Allen Jones' 2013 Barbarellaesque work, depicting Kate in bronze glitter. It is expected to fetch between £20,000 and £30,000. An important collage by Beatles Sgt. Pepper cover designer Sir Peter Blake is also on offer.  A tapestry by photo realist, Chuck Close, and a sculpture of Kate Moss as an angel in 18ct gold also features in the sale. Other artists include Annie Liebovitz, Sam Taylor-Johnson, Mary McCartney, Craig McDean, Irving Penn, Juergen Teller, and Mario Testino.

"I am pleased to be working with Christie's once again, on this occasion to celebrate the living icon Kate Moss,' says collector and curator Gert Elfering. 'She is the subject and inspiration for this collection, but the importance of the present works is in her collaboration with the internationally renowned artists who created them".“There is so much you can learn from Kate – how you should always remain true to yourself, develop your own style, and emphasise your individuality,” Elfering said.  'As I saw the collection taking shape, I was delighted by the variety and the consistent power of the works, and I have already enjoyed seeing the positive reaction in the faces of others when they first see them. 'Kate is the ultimate modern muse and we will be seeing her images in major museums and private collections for years to come. She has altered perceptions for women across the globe, encouraging them towards greater individuality and expressive freedom' he added.
