London Art Fair 2011
London Art Fair is one of the largest and longest established Contemporary art fairs in the UK. The five day exhibition covers work from over 100 countries, showcasing some of the best art galleries from Britain and globally.
The fair spreads over three floors in the Edwardian Business Design Centre, in Islington North London. The London Art Fair encompasses almost everything that has happened in art from the post war period.
The undoubted highlight of the Fair is Art Projects and Photo 50. The 2011 section is set to out do itself this year, as it is more extensive and exciting than ever before.

Art Projects
Art Projects has now been a major part of London Art Fair for six years. In 2010 we expanded into a new space and this year will be our biggest ever with 31 Galleries featuring emerging artists and new work. Established as one of the most exciting sections of the Fair, it features solo shows, curated group displays and large-scale installations with galleries from across the world.Pryle Behrman has worked on Art Projects as curator since its inauguration in 2005. Behrman is an art journalist and curator who writes for several major art magazines, including Art Monthly. He is soon to be the reviews editor of Moving Image Review and Art Journal (MIRAJ), a new international journal of artists’ moving image work launching in late 2011. Behrman is also editor of Kent Arts Listings Email (KALE).
Photo50
Photo 50 is our showcase for contemporary photography. Now in its fifth year it will feature 50 works by artists selected by a distinguished panel with both established artists and less well known figures. This year’s panel includes Zelda Cheatle, Curator and Director of the Tosca Fund Photography Collection, Celia Davies, Head of Projects for Photoworks, Sebastien Montabonel, European Senior Specialist of Photographs at Phillips de Pury and Joanna Pitman of The Times. We asked each member of the panel to nominate up to three artists and then introduce their work.
