The Moniker Art Fair opens it’s doors today for the 6th edition at the Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane. Public opening starts this evening at 5pm for the private view. At 7pm, JAM Editions launches an exclusive silkscreen printed and signed live from the fair by the much loved Bristol artist Inkie. Live music will be supplied by Flamingo Pier and Mark Powell will be drawing live from his installation ‘Air Mail’ for the duration of the evening.

The spectacular ‘Renaissance is Now’ installation, supported by Kaspersky Lab, will be unveiled to the public with new works by Schoony, Ben, Ben Eine and Toonpunk. Set yourself up with a Bitcoin wallet and change some GBP's at our Bitcoin ATM machine into the revoloutinary digital currency to take advantage of discounted Bitcoin rates for selected artworks throughout the fair.

The Hepatitis C Trust’s Art On A Postcard makes it's debut at Moniker Art Fair this year with a twist on its secret auction. The Postcard Lottery will consist of 200 original postcard-size artworks from artists such as Gilbert & George, Harland Miller, Ryan Callanan, Eelus, Matt Small, Shuby and Dougie Wallace. A £50 lottery ticket not only guarantees one of these original works, but also offers a one in two hundred chance of winning an extremely valuable and unique one off work of art. Go visit their stand for further details.

The daily talks programme kicks off on Friday at 3pm where we sit down with FADmagazine to discuss the ‘The Real Value of Street Art, How Communities Thrive Through Urban Mural Programmes'. The panel discussion will include Teresa Latuszewska from The Urban Forums Foundation in Poland, Mark Clack from Wood Street Walls in London and Lorna Lee, Head of Culture and Heritage Services at the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
