Now in its fifth year the Pinta London Art Show, from 12-15 June 2014, at Earls Court Exhibition Centre, opens new dialogue between the global expansion of Latin American art and the buoyant London art market. Following the four preceding shows, which established the credibility of Pinta London, the fair has established itself  in the globalisation of must see modern and contemporary art fairs through a program that includes  renowned galleries, curatorial strategies and a full programme of events and talks.

The Pinta Projects section is a curated area where selected galleries showcase some of the most interesting works from contemporary Latin American, Spanish and Portuguese artists working today.

This year the Gaur Special Pinta Project 2014 features Nekane Aramburu Art historian and museologist.  Es Baluard´s director in Palma de Mallorca. Nekane Aramburu has been working as a manager and curator using tentacular projects between non-conventional spaces and museums to focus on culture as a laboratory for exploring and gaining a better understanding of the social context of the world in which we live.

Both the way in which she broaches management as well as her projects focus on creative, transmedia practices and glocal territorial ecosystems. As a researcher is specialized in the analysis of the  management and construction of cultural policies and visual production.

After having worked at the Alava Fine Arts Museum and "la Caixa" Foundation  in Barcelona, she founded Trasforma, a cultural management company and independent space where, until 2003, she organised ethnographic-museistic, historical, environmental and industrial architecture projects as well as several different institutional commissions at the same time as self-management  and public participation proposals which she later went on to develop further.

Between 1999 and 2010 she set up and managed Vitoria-Gasteiz city council's  Espacio Ciudad. Centro de Arquitectura y Urbanismo para la ciudad contemporánea. She has organized and led contemporary culture projects with and in several organizations. The most recent of these include: Cendeac (Territorios mutantes. Murcia, 2005); AECID (Un lugar bajo el sol.

CCEBA/Buenos Aires 2006, Frágil. CCE/Montevideo 2009,  B Sides of the history of video art in Spain. Bangkok/ Seul/Sydney 2011); Instituto Cervantes (Palabras Corrientes.New York/Beijing 2006,  Todo cuanto amé.

Damascus/Dublín/Brussels/Madrid, 2007-2010), Telefónica Foundation/Seacex (Francisco Ruiz de Infante. BlueSky. Buenos Aires, 2009), Sala Amarica (Absolute Beginners. Vitoria-Gasteiz 2009),  Koldo Mitxelena   (Noveles  Editions XLIII and XLIV. San Sebastian 2009 and 2011 ), Kutxa Foundation (Sala Kubo. Ultramar and Museum Colección de la Fundación. San Sebastian 2011), La Chaufferie/ESADS (Juan Aizpitarte. Cosmic Ray. Strasbourg, 2012)  amongst others.
Pinta Media Art returns once more curated by Rolando J Carmona. This programme aims to insert in private and public collections important media art works by Latin American artists. This year Art Numerique will feature the work of Brazilian artist Eduardo Kac.  Pioneer of Bio-art  and telepresence, his work became renowned worldwide through Alba, a kind of fluorescent rabbit.
