It is my belief that when creativity is pressed to its limits it renders its ingredients unrecognizable; pressed even further it comes back around to render a more legible construction of what was always in full view”. – Sarah Fortais

"Never too old to play dress up" was inspired by memories of my grandmother and her eclectic style, love of colour, print, texture and all things maximal.
From these memories I began an investigation into age and its effect on style, identity and image. This took me on a journey of exploration into some inspiring characters for whom despite their age everyday is an opportunity to play dress up. – Felicity Gransden
