The Wall Ride Project Takes Public Art To Downtown Sao Paulo

The Wall Ride Project

Fine Artists working in various styles make art on the wall in front the famous Copan building

Since the 29th September, the center of São Paulo has a new artistic focus: The Wall Ride Project which brings free public art to people who pass by the front of one of the most iconic buildings in the city, the Copan Building.

Success in the latest editions of SP-Arte Fair and ArtRio Fair, Sesper is the first artist invited to work on the panel who will receive new interventions every two months and will also promote exchanges between artists from Brazil and other countries (Japan and the United States, for example). The next artist will be Onesto, recognized as one of the most important artists of the street art, and Ale Jordan, conceptual artist and creator of The Wall Ride Project.

The proposal is to add different styles such as graphic design, collage, design and photography.

“We believe that art in general connects and moves people of all ages, attracting the interest not only in the conceptual art, but all she represents. The inspiration comes from the renowned wall in New York (Houston and Bowery Wall), but we wanted something more dynamic, which also communicate with art lovers and states elsewhere” explains Ale Jordan.

Sesper should have his works exhibited at the wall until November. After him, Onesto takes up space and is January. From February to March , Ale Jordan closes the project .

The Wall Ride Project Takes Public Art To Downtown Sao Paulo
