Tracey Emin Raises Ebola Awareness By Designing New Band Aid 30 Single

The sleeve design for the Band Aid 30 single 'Do They Know It's Christmas? (2014)' has been designed by no other than Tracey Emin Artlyst reveals. The design incorporates one of her signature neon text works which reads Faith, Love and Trust, You Me and the World but the word world looks like it spells Wod-of.

The track which is being recorded today have its first play during The X Factor on ITV tonight (November 16) is set for release early this week. There is also a free app which will give access to exclusive #BandAid30 content, with proceeds going towards the Band Aid Trust. Organisers Bob Geldof and Midge Ure revealed yesterday that that Chris Martin, Bono, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, One Direction, Elbow, Jessie Ware. Other artists taking part included Elbow, Seal, Fuse ODG, Sinead O'Connor, Angelique Kidjo, Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Clean Bandi. The artists assembled at London's Sarm Studios the original location for the original Band Aid single with producer Paul Epworth.

All money raised from sales of the single will go towards the fight against ebola in west Africa. Ure, alongside Bob Geldof, previously confirmed that the lyrics to the original song will be tweaked ahead of recording to reflect the challenges affecting today's Africa.

The original version sold 3.7 million copies. Five years later, another version was produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, largely featuring their artists such as Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Sonia.
