Exhibition
1:1 - Architects Build Small Spaces - Victoria & Albert Museum
Architecture intrinsically makes part of our experience every day. With an emphasis on illustrations, models and photographs, architectural exhibitions sometimes deny their engagement with real constructions.
Using the landscape of the Museum as a test site, the V&A invited nineteen architects to submit proposals for structures that examine notions of refuge and retreat. From these nineteen concept submissions, seven were selected for construction at full-scale.
