Barmy Park - ArtLyst Event

Barmy Park - Bethnal Green Library

Do we need a little madness to set us free, or just a little freedom to be mad?  Barmy Park presents a fortnight of art, performance, poetry, music and events that explore madness in art and its potential to liberate thinking.
The event brings together 30 artists and performers who tackle the taboos surrounding mental health issues while others do what they do best – offering a refreshingly leftfield perspective on life.
The show is curated by Nicole Wassall and Imogen O'Rorke in collaboration with Core Arts.  The artists include:
Bobby Baker, Brendan Quick and Geraldine Swayne, Dermot O’Brien, Imogen O’Rorke, Lee Holden, Nicole Wassall, Paul Sakoilsky and more...
