Bookmark and Share

Celebrating 75 years of the King, Proud Chelsea presents Elvis at 21: New York to Memphis by world renowned photographer Alfred Wertheimer.

Never before seen in the UK and exclusive to Proud Chelsea, this exhibition is set to expose those moments which were to become legendary, alongside intimate, behind the scenes shots of a young Elvis on the cusp of phenomenal fame.

The show will present the only candid photographs of the star ever taken, specially selected from Alfred Wertheimer’s archive – a collection that that has come to be regarded as the most esteemed photographic documentation of Elvis in existence.

This is an absolute must see for fans of Elvis and photography alike. Providing an intensely personal photographic profile of the legend, it celebrates one the twentieth century’s most significant cultural icons.

Elvis at 21: New York to Memphis will be the first exhibition to be shown at Proud Chelsea, the latest space from the Proud Galleries Group.
