Eva Rothschild - ArtLyst Event

Eva Rothschild - Tate Britain

Eva Rothschild has created a new ambitious sculpture that exceeds the scale and scope of anything she has made before. A twisting, sequential line of twenty-six connected triangles, Cold Corners stretches the entire length and height of the space, contrasting with the stately architecture of the late nineteenth century Duveen galleries. Made from thin glossy black, aluminium box tubing, this striking work occupies the space lightly but with dramatic effect. One of the most interesting artists of her generation, Rothschild was born in Dublin in 1971 and lives and works in London.
