EXHIBITION ULTRADELIC & BEYOND ! Robert Munn & Sara Cook 3-D Art Show - Gershwin Hotel Gallery
Suzanne Tremblay and The Gershwin Hotel Gallery present a 20 year retrospective show of the Lenticular artworks of Robert Munn & Sara Cook, founders of the Depthography Group.
Opening wine, cheese & pickle reception on Tuesday, May 11th from 6-9 pm at the Gershwin lobby gallery and adjacent ballroom area.
Robert Munn & Sara Cook, founders of the Depthography Group, are artists who have been creating innovative works in the medium of Lenticular imaging for over 20 years. This show features examples of works from their earliest to their most recent, including pieces and an on-site permanent installation that will premiere at this event. The Lenticular imging method, for which the pair are responsible for significant technical advancements, permits the creation of images that display Three-Dimensional & animation effects. Mr Munn opened the world's first gallery dedicated solely to lenticular art in 1992-97. Through the years, their work has been exhibited internationally, and been the focus of numerous gallery presentations at the Proposition & DeutscheBank galleries in New York, the Esther M. Klein gallery in Philadelphia as well as a permanent exhibit in the Gramercy Theatre music venue, courtesy of Live Nation.
