This April 1st 5 emerging artists beckon you to celebrate April fool’s day and play the fool at The C.A.M.P. (City Arts and Music Project). The exhibition showcases illustration and video work based around surrealism, the bizarre and the unusual. It features exciting new work from Benedict Siddle, Jean-Paul Francisco, J M F Casey, Laura Clarke, and Thomas Dowse. All 5 artists work in various disciplines but are tied together by their alternative representation of the world. These artists bend reality and act as gods within their creative sphere. Here they construct their own parallel universes with skewed sets of rules unconstrained by reality. Yet the strength of the unusual can be its juxtaposition with the familiar. Come and let your eyes and mind be tricked. More fool you.
